Supergroove – Traction

You Gotta Know to understand

Supergroove exploded onto the NZ music scene in 1994 with their debut album Traction. It was groovy, and could rock hard even with those funky horns. Che Fu and Karl Steven shared vocals with skill. They were NZ’s own version of Fishbone or the Red Hot Chili Peppers where funk, hiphop and rock melted together.

It was a favourite in many garage parties, and their live performances were, and have always been high energy. Supergroove are here to party!
